Hailing from Jindabyne, New South Wales, country songwriting star Brad Cox has celebrated the rip-roaring success of his new album Acres by jumping the ditch for debut New Zealand headline shows — he played in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch during October – where he tells Mike – the Wellington gig was one of his best ever and Christchurch was a sell out. Recorded between Sydney, Nashville and Gympie (in Queensland), Cox’s third studio record Acres topped his homeland’s ARIA Country Charts when it first launched in May, a career highlight since taking away the Toyota Star Maker accolade at the 2018 Country Music Awards of Australia.
